In my Cleveland Scene piece on them, I said "if John Williams formed a black metal band, they'd sound like Dimmu Borgir." I asked Silenoz whether they'd play the whole album, and he said no, citing Iron Maiden's recent poorly-received tour as a reason why.

That tone of caution makes sense from a pragmatic perspective -- even given that Dimmu Borgir's concept album is stronger than Iron Maiden's, while IM's back catalog is better stocked with indelible hits that the casual concertgoer might know than DB's is. Thanks, Phil.
